Tom Gorman
Biographical Note

Doing business as Content Publishing Services, Tom Gorman has written hundreds of content marketing and thought leadership pieces for company websites and online and hardcopy publications. The latter include WSJ.com, CFO magazine, Directorship, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Security Officer, and California Continuing Education of the Bar, among many others.

He has also written, ghosted, and collaborated on more than 20 business books published by houses such as Adams Media, Alpha/Macmillan, Amacom, Career Press, Fireside/Simon & Schuster, John Wiley & Sons, Perigee, and Prentice Hall.

Tom also wrote and published Writing the Breakthrough Business Book under his Content Publishing imprint. This book won the Independent Book Publishers Association’s prestigious Ben Franklin Award in the business category.

Earlier in his career, Tom worked in management positions at two major New York banks, Dun & Bradstreet, and DRI/McGraw-Hill (now IHS Global Insight) in, respectively, credit, marketing and product development, and editorial production.

He also facilitated scores of written communication workshops for Better Communications, Inc. and, more recently, completed the Co-Active Coaching Fundamentals course at the Coaches Training Institute.

Tom holds a B.A. in psychology from Fairleigh Dickenson University and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
